Hard to get used to?

Is WoW hard to get used to.
Im thinking of getting it but I don't want to be completely baffled as in where I am and what to do.

How long did it take you guys to get used to it?

I got used to it straight away, as i changed the controls to my liking.
But if u do get it, i can referere you *nudge, nudge*

For me, hard. I had no clue what I was doing.

It's just a case of getting used to things, took about a couple weeks of playing for me.

I got used to it straight away, It was fun learning new things and not knowing what to do.
Also the controls where perfect and easy to use but i used to play guild wars and they are bit like that so i was kinda allready used to them.

It's a good game to get into ^_^ [Just be aware it may consume some of your life ]

It's very basic and forward on where you go in quest's and town's etc the majority of the community is very friendly.

It dosen't take that long to get used to it's the normal FPS etc controls
W,A,S,D to move
You can click your spell's or press the number button's at the bottom

If you do get it TRY all the classes and level them to around level 5-6 and see which you like the most ^_^ Most people just ask what class is best and there isn't a best class it just depend's on the preference's of the person.

I've played both Horde & Alliance
Overall i'd say Horde is slightly more mature
But it depend's on the server and how mature you are yourself
Both side's have the idiot's and jerk's associated with gaming.

I'd try the Free trial before you do anything.

I was like you when I started, got veeeery confused at first.
However I soon got used to the game and realised it wasn't as confusing as I thought it was.

Well actually put it like this, i started it at night around 10pm, got used to it and lvl'd to like 6 straight away
