My cousin got WoW and he just gave me the CD's and a 10 day trail.

Is it any good and what character and race should I be.

I was thinking of a Shadow Elf Mage

Btw when the trial is over do I need to buy WoW itself or just a pre-paided card to top it up.

Shadow Elf Mage? You mean a Blood elf Warlock? Because that's only with the BC trial.

It's a good game, just don't give up if you can't do a certain Q. Things get better :>
Make sure you choose the same realm as your cousin did if you want to play with him. Character-wise, choose one you like the look of. I did that at first and didn't like it, but your choice may be different to a Nelf warrior ¬.¬

Once your trial has finished, just pop into your local game shop and buy the pre-paid card, or pay online. Whichever floats your boat. You don't need to re-download anything if you've already installed it, unless it's a patch ofc.

You can just use the code on the 10-day trial to get 10 days free, and yes once the 10 days are up you keep your characters- you just can't play until you have a new subscription

They're around £18 for 2 months.

also u gotta choose a range of races and classes also choose the realm, killrog and be alliance, theres a few of us on there who can help ya out
