How do you trade from a gameboy emulator to a gameboy

Because basically I recently discovered them and I found a pokemon rom and did loads of cool gameshark cheats to it. But now I am wondering how to trade pokemon from my computer to my gameboy

ive never seen one though im guessin you connect it 2 pc via usb or somthing 2 put games on it then you just put it in your gba/ds

best ask some one whos alredy got one though
