    Default Does weight-lifting affect height?

    Well ive been looking on google for a while and i was wondering does weight lifting actualy affect height in adolesence?

    I'd like to hear your thoughts on this ^^

    If it does, that'd explain a few things for my height.
    I'm now 6 ft 4.. and my parents are both 5 ft 9ish.
    And I've lifted weights (not constantly or regularly) since I was about 12.

    So that'd explain a lot for me if it's true.
    You french fried when you should have pizza'd. If you french fry when you should pizza, you're gonna have a bad time....

    If you went on a weightlifting diet, eg Chicken and rice, of course you would because of high protein.

    Darn, my secret of spinach eating is out -cries-

    Nah Weight Lifting probably does affect your height (shorter) since it probably helps puts pressure on your body, over time I'd imagine that'd have a major impact on your body.

    It might affect it slightly, but I imagine it will just make you look bigger/smalled because you will be more bulky etc.
