Default iphone will cost only £101?

    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/connected...liphone209.xml

Will the phone actually be £101? Or will it go up depending on what?

Ive just gone down to my o2 store in guildford to get one reserved for July 11. Im getting hte 16GB one on the £35 contract with o2 for 18 months. The handset will cost £169 for the 16gb, and £99 for 8GB. Pretty good price tbh, but the contracts are prettying high compared to america.

After reading an article further, a rumour that is almost confirmed states that the phone will not be on pay and go under any price and the minimum contract will be 24months. Also the contract price will be up another $10 than the previous iphone to cover for the subsidised cost of the phone and this may even be without any text messages. This could mean that you could be paying £40/$80 per month for the contract for 2 years just to get the phone at a cheaper price.

So after looking closer i wouldn't get the phone just yet because within a few months of release i think the phone would be given out for free on the same contract with different companys.
