Now that I've found out you need a PPL license to broadcast an ShoutCast server I've decided I wont be getting one for SwindonSound.
Say this site was where you lived would you still use it if it had;

• News system
• Download system
• Topsite system - maybe.
• Competition system
• Badge system - how cool!
• Friends system
• Blogging system
• Profile system
• Banning system
• FAQ/Help system - wow!
• Messaging system

Providing it was all based where you live... and any ideas what else could be included?!

Almost around 80% of Internet Radios AREN'T licenced.

I might use the site, and on the subject on shoutcasts. Do you think sites like ClubHabbo have a licence? You're only going to be found out (even then there's a 0.001% chance) if you have like 90000 listeners.

I personally wouldn't like to take a risk as it can result upto hefty fines which even I cannot afford, although we should report clubhabbo deserves them right *cough* i mean yeh there lucky.

I think if you got caught they'd just ask you to remove it first, then they'd take action if you failed to co-operate.
