    Default [EE] Euro2008 Updates - PART 2

2nd evening that I've done the Euro 2008 Qualifiers updates thread. I'm Scottish but have lived in England nearly all my life - still quite gutted Italy put them out. ANYWAY - great news for England as Israel lead Russia 1-0 at half time.

But yet again fall at the final hurdle .
At least Israel did us a favour tonight, just hope we don't bottle it against Croatia.

I always laugh when we all panic that we've lost two strikers. We're meant to be one of the biggest nations in world football and we can't cope with two injuries to our front line. Why not call up someone like Gabriel Agbonlahor from the Under-21s :S. Anyways if they don't, I hope they don't put Defoe up with Crouch. Use Gerrard instead.
