Is there any way to add the shoutbox to the closed message so when the forums closed people who are already logged in can talk on it?

I dont think so. You could use html for the whole page and just add the shoutcast that way. Can you use html on the closed page? (I havent used vbulletin for ages)

Doh! ... Sorry about that ... Trying to fix my shoutcast player atm... things on mind... Well anyways i think the only way would be to externally host a shoutbox (yay i didnt say shoutcast)run by another site... So it would be exactly the same... but wouldnt be the same as the forum shoutbox... If you get me...
