Thud Thud Thud. The repetetive noise drilled into my head. Only about 20 seconds has passed, but that noise, the noise which will bring the inevitable
closer and closer. Each thud is louder. It begins to racket around in the empty corridor. The thud stops in a quick halt. Now comes the crashing and the scratching. The door starts to crack from the heavy force against it.
The door cracks open in a burst of force. A large hand with thick claws growing out of the hands fingers. My knees buckle as I attempt to double back into the
corridor and run. The creatures large snout pokes out of the door. The black
slimy nose twitches slightly, as if it's picking up my scent. Soon comes out the full head. Covered in fur, it's eyes were dark and sadistic. It turned slowly meeting my eyes in an unbreakable gaze. I tried to scream, but my voice had died. I pulled my self desperately across the floor as the thudding began again.
The thudding, now seeming so close behind me, had stopped again.
I turned over to see the large beast in front of my face.
This time I scream loudly. In the unmistakable word. HELP!
The creature clawed at my face, drawing thick oozing blood from my cheek.
I collapsed onto my unharmed side of my face. I start to sob. My tears flowing like a stream down my cheek. I now know what it is like to fear death.
I try to slide away again. But a large blow strikes my back. Sending my into the floor hard, drawing every last breath away from me. My eyes bulge as the blow hits again, and again. I start to cough, blood splatters across the floor as I cough. I look slightly to the creature through my peripheral vision. The thick jaws of the creature were positioned in an unmistakable pose.
It's smiling at my pain...
I drag myself away from it's strikes and pull myself onto my feet.
I stagger over to the window. The creature lunges at me now, as if it's
patience has gone out of the window. It's jaws widen as it comes closer to my face.
My eyes open and shut again in the bright light. I glance around realising that I was free from it. Free from the pain. I look at my arms, and soon into a mirror.
My face, is bandaged from where the creature had bitten me. I sigh deeply
and think. I escaped.. but, what if it comes back?
I Look outside into the door window. I see a man, with the smile of the creature.
He waves at me sadistically, then, the lights go out.
