ok my red green blue av cords ive got from xbox 360 i put it in the right places i think at the back of my hd tv, and the picture couldnt be better but there is no sound someone pls help me.

Umm..
I've never really been in this situation, have you switched the lil switch thing on the side of your wire, to HD?
Thats all i can really say, and of course the obvious thing, check your not muting nefin

Get a scart and then put the scart into the TV then the wires into the scart.

when u got the xbox u should have had a scart adaptor on the end of the 3 coloured wires.
put that back on and plug it in a scart socket.
if that fails, there colours you mentioned should infact be yellow, red, and white.
check they are in the right holes.
i think the yellow one is the sound.
