Lightbulb Just to let you know.....

Just to let you know the reason why Habbo was closed earlier was because:

A hobba account was hacked by a krew called [col] and they have been going around banning people for no aparent reason. Habbo had to close for a maintenance break to remove all hobbas and MODs tools before catching the account and banning it, all hobbas and MODs have resumed there tools and the hotel is all back in full working action.

Edit: I have reason to believe that other sources are also a reason for why habbo was down for a maintenance break. This information was taken from a website therefor i cannot be blamed for any incorrect or false information.

Basically, someone called Kai got into housekeeping via Elkis account. Habbo changed the password, but the only way to get someone off housekeeping is for them to log out themselfs. So after a few hours of Kai banning people with rather amusing messages, Habbo finally went down for maintenance and fixed the problem, I believe.

Well the Kai thing is defiantly what happened. I don't believe it had anything to do with a k/crew or them having to remove MOD/hobba tools.

It really does amuse me the way the word 'hack' gets thrown around Habbo forums under completely the wrong tenses.

To hack is to flood a program with information till it grows out side it's memory bank. This information can then be manipulated with code and become a programme within a programme. That, is a basic definition of 'hacking'.

    Not; Keylogging, Scripting, Scamming.
Like LesbianGhost said, somehow Kai obtained Elki's password and exploited the housekeeping system.
