i watch a few episodes every now and again but i missed most the the story about the gas mask folk

could someone just tell me brifly what happened?

Basically Rose disappeared from the Doctor, who was looking for her. Then he unraveled a story about a little boy who lost his mother in the war and a disease unfolded where all victims of the disease were masked with a gas mask. Then the Doctor found Rose with another explorer except, he wasn't what he seemed. He was just a fraudster passing off as a researcher. It ended when the doctor, Rose and the fraudster were surrounded by the victims wearing the gas masks. We'll find out what happened in this episode on Staurday
