No sadly it's been confirmed that it's permanently closed by Sulake, they just weren't making any money on it at all.

I thought it had to do with that other people could enter the chat and tell about their goverment being corrupt and about that Shockwave never 'launched' in China.

It hardl matters where it was located if there was just one big one however the problem is language.
The other day I was in a toilet.
A voice came from the cubicle next to me: "Hello mate, how are you doing?"
I didn't want to be rude, so I said, "Not too bad, thanks."
I heard the voice again. "So, what are you up to?"
Again I answered, "Just having a quick ****... How about yourself?"
Then I heard him say "Sorry, mate, I'll have to call you back. I've got some **** in the cubicle next to me answering everything I say."

I lived in China until December, and half of the websites over there are blocked, so I wasn't too suprised when it got blocked. For a while I couldn't get on any of the other habbo hotels while in China but that was lifted while I was there, but not to sure if thats still the case.
