Well I noticed when threads are been closed mods arn't posting a notice in the thread stating the reason it has been closed. Just like to let you know..

Its probably just an honest mistake, but id probably Pm who ever did it to let them know or they probably wont be aware of the mistake

That's a good idea, especially if the moderator is new - (s)he may have forgotten. Once they're reminded with a friendly PM they'll remember.

in addition to the above posts, i dont see why a thread needs to be made about it here if it has only been done once.

I have seen a couple of threads closed without a reason.

Yes, there is a reason they where closed, but there isn't a reason stated.
