I really do resent that. Me and my girlfriend met on Habbo, and we've been going ever since July. It's a long distance relationship which makes it ever so harder, but there's not just perverts on the internet. There are some decent guys/gals on the internet who you will feel the same emotions you'd feel for someone you know in the same town as you. I just couldn't ignore what you said there. They can promote it, however I met my girlfriend with mine & her parents present. It's always good to be safe and really, it wasn't that embarrassing either. It gives you a tight bond with his/her parents and vice-versa.

Just go with your parents if you're meeting someone off the internet if you're suspicious of the person you are 'eDating'. :]

If you want some facts, the Cyber Crime Unit down at Paignton (local in devon to me) said to my mum who also works in the police, that Habbo Hotel is around 60% perverts believe it or not. There's alot more than you think, and some of them don't even go detected. I'm not lying, Runescape is almost as bad apparently. That was the reason I actually got banned off Habbo, but I decided to tell my parents to sod off.

By the way, Habbo warn you, they don't tell you not to! 'Habbo Love' has a lot more depth to it than you think. It's the same sort of emotions used, it's like when you go onto dating agency websites...
