    Question Should School Pupils Be Allowed To...

    Should school pupils have the right to chat in class while the teacher is not talking and work is to be completed, is it wrong for the teacher to punish pupils for simply have a social chat and enjoying themself instead of sitting on there own doing there work bored? Just answer the poll and let out your view in this question.

    yes it should, theres nothing wrong with it as long as they are working and its controlled

    If they're working as well as chatting, then yes, all for it; the same can be said if they've completed the set work.
    If they're someone who's a slow worker, and stops writing to talk to others (IE - turns around) - then no, they should not be allowed to talk.

    But the same rule has to apply to everybody.
    You french fried when you should have pizza'd. If you french fry when you should pizza, you're gonna have a bad time....

    examples would be nice
    Safety rules ect, it some times they go on and go on, and it takes like 5 mins to shut the class up for a 2 min speak.

    i dont see how that can affect someones safety

    if you read my first post, you'll see that i said its a good idea if its controlled and they are getting on with their work.

    and yes, the safety laws are getting tougher, so yeh, they wont allow it ;/
