That Angel Island tune reminds me of the tunes in the Dynasty Warriors collection of games. But it's a big improvement from the tune in Sonic 3

The angel island tune is amazing. I couldn't stand it in Sonic 3, but they've definately made it listen-to-able now, maybe even downloadable. They could've chosen a better tune though, metropolis zone from Sonic 2 or maybe the ice cap zone music from Sonic & Knuckles (I'm a closet sonic fan )

It depends on the stage I suppose Ice Cap won't really fit in with the Angel Island Zone, even though it is kinda a nice tune
