    Default Are A-Levels Hard?

Hey there, well I was looking at A-level information and thenI noticed a page came up with the grade boundaires it was something like 70-80% for a Grade B and 80-90% for a Grade A, do you not think these are to high percentage unless you revise the A-level course to your max? and also my course are modular exams so would that make it easy?

If you get a grade A in gcse its equal to about a C or a B in a level so the work steps up a bit, i think modular exams would be easier my course is project based and its all about meeting deadlines.

You must of got all A* at GCSE then..

They are a bit harder than GCSE in terms of more depth of knowledge and analysis..

The work load is about the same if not a bit more.

It requires a lot of work and revision - I speak from experience.

It's just like any other test really if you revise and do all the coursework properly.

    not necessarily hard..
you just need to be organised really - do the work. revise. keep on top of stuff.

    if not you get behind
then it gets hard trying to do everything at once.

only speaking from experience mind you.

Its different for everyone. If you put the time in and use your head then you will be fine. If you take them for a ride you will get along but your grades will show you that you need to put more time in. The last unit of A2 is the hardest part as it is the final part, which is the term i have just reached and it is getting harder woop. AS's rock , but work hard in AS to ease the pressure of re-sits and resitting of coursework once you enter the second year of alevel at A2 standard.

Depends on the subject I think. Personally, I find Law and History easy yet I find Business and Eng Lit hard.
