If you mean by smallest, e.g keep rounding down, you will get the almost same answer every time.

    I have squared one.

    1) 29.4448637 (29.4)

    Edit: Another

    2) 20 (rounded up)
    3) 1.5 (rounded up)

    1) /867 = 29.4448637
    2) /15 x /21 = 17.7482393
    3) 11/2 x 3/11 = do it yourself
    4) /9 divided by /3 = 1.73205081

For example on the other bit,
    Assuming that it was 18,
the lowest it could be is 17.50 because if not it would round down
the highest it could be is 18.49 so it will round down to 18 still.
I believe that is called upper and lower boundaries

It's basically like /2, it's to express square roots where there isnt any. like the square root of 2, or 7 etc.
