Hi
Very nice but theres too much drop shadow on the logo![]()
De-size the dropshadow. Maby add some inner glow and a gradient on the text could go well.
Ok thanks, I'll create some logo's.
Hi
Really don't like it, sorry.
Graphics look very tacky, gradient below navigation isn't pleasant, some of the colours are bad & finally the logo is bad.
Good try though.
That's really goodBut, the blue stroke around the clear font seems a little blurry but apart from that, it's good.
Thanks for your comment. Any positives or is it all negative from you?
Thanks, yeah I see what you mean. I'll edit that.
Hi
OK, I have some spare time so I'll get into my old habit and do a detailed C&C and no one will read it unless they are bored.
Ill start from the top and work my way down I guess.
The whole layout seems a bit dark and negative, it seems a bit secretive and evil if you wish. Most hosts use light shades and contrasting and harmonizing colours to comply with "2.0" standards. The logo I'm not keen on, it looks like a tag from a clothes item. Highly irrelevant. The advertisement slot seems a bit shadow raided, there's a lot going on and your eyes are dragged away from the text to the dark background. Along with that, in the banner it says "Click Virtual Server in the navigation.", if a person likes something, they would want to click on what they like rather than hunt down the product. It's like going to Argos having looked at the catalogue but forgot the page number or not recorded the item number.
There is far too much shadow and shapes going on within the layout that your eyes are took away from the important text and focused on the amateur layout. The layout overall is far too linear. It just seems a bit boring and it kind of looks like a website where it's left for a period of time before updating. I can only see two main colours in the layout, red and blue. Try and introduce other colours which would suit the layout better.
On a plus note, The layout looks OK. To improve the layout, I would do the following:
- Change the background colour
- Change the logo
- Remove the gray shadow under the navigation and replace with the drop shadow as above
- Change the banner below the nav and all of the server spec' boxes
The bottom half looks great but there is still some improving to be done. It's alright, but it should be a layout promoting the company, not keeping it back. Good luck with the business!![]()
