You'll need to patch CS3 as it's got a much more advance verify system. CS1/2 are easy to enter a serial. Although CS3 is much harder.
You'll need to find a iMAC patch or just use another version.
V8 is the easiest by far.

CS3 is by far the easiest for me.
But I have no experiance with it for Mac etc.
