Hey, on fifa 08 when the transfer season opens I can't seem to buy players. I offer about 5-6 million more than the asking price and bump up their wage to about 5 thousand more than they get. Whats the problem here?

To see how close you are to signing a player, you need to go into transfers, and then transfer history. scroll across and it should give you a meter kinda thing on how close you are from signing the player. A description of why you failed to purchase the player will also appear below it.

I would have thought so. It's still essentailly the same game on all platforms.

Stephen is right.. But they maybe just don't want to sell you the player, you're maybe rebells like ex: You are Arsenal, and want to buy a player form Chelsea?

Depending on what platform you on - go on staff upgrades and put negotiator up to 10 and you'll get them easily.
jesus had an intimate moment with the infraction button until it told him to stop asking for it's personal details and gave him a warning.
