If you have Sam 3 then:
On the mic settings bit click config and where it says Voice FX destination (recording mode) select the option that says "Encoders (record to pipeline, skip output)". Then when you speak you should no longer get an echo on your mic.

Hi there [: Is it just you hear yourself through the speakers? If so then go to your control panel on your computer and then go to sound and audio devices then go to voice and test your hardware and then click audio playback, there should be a little tick box you can check and if that doesn't work here are some googles links that you can use to try to see if they help

    FROM :
    http://www.instantventrilo.com/suppo...sound-echo.php

Here is a list of things that can help when trying to eliminate echo.

Be sure that you are using an headset and not speakers to play your sounds. The microphone can pickup the sound from the speakers which create a bad echo and sometimes multiple echo.

In rare cases some heaset microphone are very sensitive to sound and if you have your headset volum to high the microphone can pick it up, try lowering your main sound volume.

If people report to you that you are echoing almost perfect echo of the discussion and in some cases your computer sound it is most likely because your default recording device is not selected.

Click, Start, control Panel, Sound & audio devices and go in the tab Voice.

Click the "Volume..." button under the recording section and be sure that the Select box under Microphone is selected and nothing else.

Thats what I was trying to explain in the paragraph above.

Here is more links you can use [:
