Default (+10rep) Playing Ipod in Car

    Hiya

I am looking for a place to get one of them FM radio transmitter thingies for my ipod touch? lol

Basically I wanna play my ipod via my radio speakers in the car when driving...

I'm not wanting to pay too much and don't want it to run of the charger power thing if possible (the wee smoking thing )

    Thanks for help

I'm not 100% on what you're wanting but if you want to just play your regular iPod through your car speakers, if you have a tape player you can get one of these:

You can get them from Asda for like five pound.

Monster iCarplay, I have it for my car and the sound quality is awesome. you can't even tell it apart from a CD!

29.99 is an AWESOME price for it on ebay, I payed $100 for the same one in the store.

OH, and for iPod touch, you have to check compatibility because some transmitters don't support it, icarplay does FOR SURE (because I have a touch too!)

I'm at a point in my life where I don't care if you like me or you don't. If you like me, cool. If you don't, meh.

This will depend on the stero in the car but...

If your car stereo has an audio input socket on the front...or somewhere on it for that matter. Just go out and buy an output to input cable with 3.5mm jacks on it, or whatever size suits the sockets on the stereo and your ipod, you could always buy adaptors if need be, just plug one end into your ipod and the other into the car stereo. It'll only cost a couple of quid and will prove to be much cheaper than all these fancy gadgets that everyone else is recommending

the only thing i can think of is the iTrip, like someone else reccomended.
it plugs into your ipod, then transmits the music on a radio frequency. then you tune your car radio into that frequency and it plays via the car speakers
at least i think that that is how it works
