The World Of Scams.

New and new scams are coming out everyday....but...
We have the power to sotp them.
In this guide i will feature scams to watch out for and what to do.

Password Scams

One day a newb might come up to you and say "i can get you free furni/credits all you have to do is give me your password, that amazing?"
What you should say : No and *report*
What you might say : Yes that great my password is fherf67
They get your password and go on your account and transfer furniture to there account. Then you later log on your account and have no furni.
THE LAMEST TRICK IN THE BOOK!!!

Furni Scams.

Another day a newb might come up to you and say "I can duplicate furniture or you have to do is give me your furniture" Well they mgiht also say "Put your furni in this little circle (could be a circle of pods in there room or circle of andles ect) and the furni will duplicate!"
What you should do : No im alright thanks report*
What you might do : Ok sure that well kool! *drops furni in room* or *trade them furni* and they can keep you furni forever!
DONT FOOL FOR IT GUYS!!!!!!!!!

Website Scams

On your time on habbo you would have or probably will recieve a message like this ' Go to www.habbotoold4u.com or www.funiduplicate.com ' You will go to this and it will probably have a sign up box saying 'username & password'
SCAM ALERT!!!!!!!!
What you should do : Not sign up for it. Report the person who sent the message. And report the site on the habbohotel website. NEver sign in anywhere apart from www.habbohotel.co.uk or any other of them like .com, .ca, .nl ect.
What you might do : Sign up using you username and password and it then gets sent to there documents or email, consequently getting your detaisl and stelaing your account, furni ect.

Keylogger Scams

Keylogger is a virus which records every keystroke you make!. Never download scripting tools, Flooding tools, or anything like that! There are NO habbo cheats.
1. Downloding tool like that will get you banned and is against the habbo way.
2. You may pay the price and it may be a kelyogger and get your password and username!

What not to do : downlaod the program and report it on www.habbohotel.co.uk

What you might do : Download it, The keylogger will infect your computer and stela your habbo username and password. This can happen with things like msn, hotmail and anything that you type in!

Caisnos.

Ok, Casino are not always scams! But sometimes they are. Things to watch out for in a casino.

1.If the room is made up of norms. = . This is a sign of they will have no rares for prizes.

2. Always check if they have the prize. Ask if they have the prize and make them show it to you in trade.

3. Always ask your mates if they have betted there and see if you get positive feedback!

4. MOST IMPORTANTLY!!! If you do not want to bet!!! You dont have to!!!!

My advice is to not bet!! Its most likley a scam!!!
I have never bet myself and it is your decision!

Fallin furni and other games.

Fallin furni! Well, This game has scam written all over it!! All they do is make clones and make them *pretend* to rev you and you will want to p2s or rev back. This is 99% chance a scam!. All they do is make they're friend or clone win and you lose furni out of rev'ving ect.

What not to do : rev or p2s, always kick!!!

What to do : Always say kick and when you do leave the room and move onto something else!

It's ok, but people do these everyday, plus we don't have the power to stop scams, we can resist them but not eliminate.

Hmmmm... Falling furni isn't always a scam. The best thing I've won is a tubmaster, the most foolish I've been is loosing the same tubmaster, a HC, and a dragon on the same day. They were definately a clone, but would be no use reporting it or anything, cause I knew absoloutely nothing would happen.
