I hate the way the websites advertise on your myspace.
I'd rather use one made by someone and advertise there site where I want it rather than being forced to advertise some rubbish website.
Most of the time it's the rubbish ones that have the most advertising.

They are annoying. But if you go on the above site there's a section where you paste your whole profile code and then press something like submit and it removes the advertisement codes.

erm, its really easy to get rid of it...

if on windows, press ctrl + f and type absolute in. Then just delete that part...

I usually code my own but when I get asked to make one for someone I usually use one from another site for a quick template. Saves me alot of time. Also, if there are ads on your skins, just remove them?
