    Default Roy Keane.

    What's your opinion on him?
IMO, he has been the saviour for Sunderland.
The light at the end of the tunnel.

To come into his first year of managing to a club who was bottom of the Championship with I think it was only 1 win and turn them around to dominate the league is pretty outstanding.

His first season in the premiership, he has done what the previous 2/3 managers have failed to do - he's kept us up in top flight football.

I think he will go on to become a great manager.

Well to be honest, he did spend £35 million odd. You'd expect to stay up after spending that. Plus last season when you were bottom he had big funds aswell, it's easier said than done though - he's a good manager.

Sunderland aint a very good team..
They are known more or less now as the team that got promoted from the Championship.

It will take a few years to get Premiership status again, much alike West Ham have done.

    I HATE WESTHAM,.

Well yeah, they're not going to be known as an established team when they've only came up for 1 season.

I'd say they are known as a low class premiership team.

Just remember, about 4/5 seasons back when Peter Reid was in charge we finnished 7th twice in a row and had the chance to get a champions league place

Done well to keep them up, but he's not proved himself in the transfer market yet. He's paid over the odds for championship players, Chopra for 6million for example. If he improves the squad with some quality Prem players and can get a top half finish I think thats when he can be called a good manager.

Yeah I half agree with you but he has made some great signings.

    Andy Reid
    Kenwyn Jones
    Craig Gordan
    Phil Bardsley
Jonny Evans (only on loan though )
    Carlos Edwards

    I think he did make alot of signings who were a totaly let down though such as;

    Paul McShame (Terrible)
    Danny Higginbottham
    Rada Prica (Waste of money)
    Kieran Richardson

But I saw you mentioned Chopra, lately he has been playing great for us - it's just Keane played him out of position for most of the season as Edwards was injured.

I still think he paid over the odds for Andy Reid, Kenwyn Jones and Craig Gordan. No doubting their quality, just the price.
