    Default Hard Disk Drives

Kinda remedial question, but I thought I'd best check.
I've got a kinda rubbish laptop which is all I use really for the web.

I've downloaded a fair few stuff, and went to defrag my drive as one hard disks pretty much full. It says (in My Computer), that I have 2 hard-disks, one 99% full and the other 1%. So obviously everything has saved itself in the main one (C, with the (D just containing some program files.

Am I safe to transfer things from one to the other?

Its probably in the wrong forum as well lol.
    Doubt everything, even this.

Yeah, as long as it's just media files and documents that you're moving over. The chances are it's the same hard drive anyway, just different partitions.

Yeah, cheers. I'll make sure I don't move anything important then.
    Doubt everything, even this.

Don't move any program files. If you wish to install programs onto that disc, when you download and install it choose the D: drive instead of the C: drive for the installation path.

Yeah, but dont move anything in the windows and system32 folder.
Lets set the stage on fire, and hollywood will be jealous.
