do you have to have a chipped PS2 to use ps2 bittorent games on it?

Yes you do, PS2 only recognises official PS2 games that you actually bought.

I also think that when you chip the PS2, you can only play copied PS2 games. Although it might be the Xbox. I forgot.

Yeah it needs to be chipped or of course you can use something called "Swap Magic" (I use the latter) and it works well. You dont need to open the playstation or whatever to use Swap Magic either.

Never heard about that and I owned a chipped PS2 at one point, same with my brother owning a chipped Xbox and both played originals too.

Might have been a different kind of chip, I do remember something about if your xbox was chipped and you tried to get onto xbox live it would like stop your xbox working properly.

Hey,

Swap Magic is like a free-loader. It allows you to play backup games (Copies) freely.

Also, Swap Magic 3 supports almost all SEGA ROMS, SNES ROMS, PS1 & PS2 Games! (I didnt even know that lol)

You need to get the "Slide Tool" or the "Flip-Top Cover" (Depending on what PS2 you have)
