    Default [Help] Broadband

    I'm currently upgrading my broadband, and i'd like to know what you think of this offer ;

    12Mb downstream; 1Mb upstream
24 hour online connection - no time restrictions
    No telephone line required
    120GB usage limit
    Up to 15 email addresses
    300MB web space
    FREE wireless router

With UPC Broadband Ultra you get a FREE wireless router worth € 49.99
    and two months half price

All for 40€ a month. roughly 25 pound?

Is this a good offer, and do i have enough of a usage limit.

    www.upc.ie

    Thank you

    Kevin

It's not a bad deal. They seem a decent ISP. The thing is i don't know what other ISPs are available in your area to compare to.

Thank's nick for replying to my post,
There are quite a few ISP's, but it's not just about the speed, its about the uptime/maintaining speed. If the company only offers theese speeds rarely, It's usless.

Here are the top ISP's in dublin, according to speedtest

and here is an ISP forum, for ireland

From what i can see they're probably the best you can get in your area. They seem to be using a contention ratio of around 30:1 which should mean the speeds are consistently decent.
