    Default Habbox Staff's veiws?

Again I will bring up the question: Should Habbox Staff Give a Say on Things?

I mean, they aren't going to have a good say when the following is taken into account:

MAD clearly replied to the THIS thread that Habbox Staff don't have a biased view. If I get FIRED for being "Negative towards Habbox" then isn't that basic hypocrisy?

So should Habbox staff really be trusted on their opinion?

PS: Immensemans opinion can always be trusted though :8

PPS: I know this thread is going to go bye-bye in like 5 minutes, it just proves my point.

    Discuss.

Although I can say something that's good, they've removed anything above Size 4 from the dropdown list.

yes they should, but it needs to be constructive when it's negative.

You cant just say things without there being a reason behind it.
Constructive Criticism is the way to do it !

I fail to see how you can be constructive towards a complete negativity?

You can't construct everything. It's pointless attempting to be positive about something that you know won't change.

There are ways of going about things though. I'll give you an example... 'I hate habbox, management are crap, they should all be fired' isn't going to do you any favours. You could say 'I think Habbox can be improved by xyz' a big difference there. If you worked for a company you wouldn't say 'I hate my manager' in a place where your manager can see it. I'm sure you know what i'm getting at. Everyone is allowed an opinion it's just how you go about voicing it.

I've regularly spoke out against Habbox and I've openly expressed opinions to ---MAD--- himself but the issue is that certain staff members just attack Habbox and that's when it looks bad because in every business staff have to follow a certain decorum and if you're dirtying the reputation of your boss then it looks bad. I have always found MAD to be open to criticism as has Elkaa and Nvr etc and it is a vast improvement on 8Freak8's era of General Management which I felt was more restrictive.

I do, however, feel that staff's views aren't biased and those that are constructive are taken into account, however, if you have a staff member who says "that obviously isn't going to work" or "it's stupid" etc then that is being negative and in all fairness members can get banned for such negativity so why should staff be immune?

You need to get a more positive attitude... If you don't try you will never get, and being nice even about something bad can sometimes get you something...

I am extremely surprised you are posting this as you know full well how to go about criticism. I'll post a passge which is copy-pasted striaght from the articles department staff guide which you have had several months to study and absorb:

    Criticism

As far as I’m concerned, you have the right to post whatever criticism you like within the articles staff forum, be it of my management, your colleagues’ articles or even asking for criticism of your own articles to help self-improvement. If you cannot take criticism then you shouldn’t be a writer as you are writing for other people, and other people are going to have an opinion of your work.

But with this right comes responsibility. There is a fine line between criticism and a personal attack. For example:

Writer X’s articles are not up to the standard they should be because “reason A,” he could improve on this by doing X, Y and Z.
Writer X is a bad writer and shouldn’t be on the team.
The first example is constructive criticism and can be taken on board by Writer X to improve his work. The second example serves only to put Writer X down and make him feel negatively about himself and his work. Slipping over this line can be avoided by using the words “I think” (because everyone has a right to an opinion) and by remembering to criticise the actions of the person in question, not the actual person. For example:

I think Writer X was wrong in posting XYZ in article X because…
Writer X is a poor writer and can’t help himself posting offensive things.
    See the difference?

I do ask that all criticism be kept to the confines of the staff forum. Openly criticising other writers on the habbox site or on the forums only serves as bad publicity for the department and is no more helpful to the person it is aimed at than if it was posted in the staff forum.
You know what constitutes criticism and what constitutes attacks, and when the line is crossed action has to be taken.

Although yes, sometimes I don't give constructive criticism, about Habbox (staff you can see my posts in the "How Habbox Can Improve Thread" were also constructive yet deemed negative.
