I mean, for ages I couldn't get any online achievements as i had no live. That and people often rig matches so they get them, games like CoD show you don't need them to be good.

i think that they give you something to aim for and work at. It stops online getting boring i think.
And by rigging do you mean boosting? Boosting doesnt work for all online achievements its only some

Some are great such as Halo, but CoD3 ones just suck so bad. 40k points online? What a joke.
