    Default New PC, Any suggestions?

I'm thinking of buying a new pc, in the next year.
I have found one, I think is good, but I'm wondering if their are others that are better spec, for the same price.

I have around £600 to spend, I want somthing under that though, tbh.

    So far, I am intrested in;

Mesh Computers - Elite M6600 Quad
    Intel® Core™ 2 Quad Q6600 Quad Core Processor(2.4GHz,8MB Cache,1066MHz)
Genuine Windows Vista™ Home Premium Edition with Service Pack 1
New MESH Mini-Tower Micro ATX Case +300W PSU
PCI-Express Nvidia Geforce Mainboard Intel Core™ 2 Duo/Quad Core MATX
    2GB DDR2 667MHz Memory - (2x 1GB)
500GB Serial ATA Hard Drive with 16MB Buffer
Super Format 20x Dual Layer DVD Writer +R/-R/RW/RAM
    256MB nVIDIA GeForce 8400 GS - DVI, HDTV, TV-Out
19" Widescreen LCD TFT Display with internal speakers
5.1 High Definition onboard sound card - 6 Channel Cinema sound
Logitech Desktop Keyboard & Optical Mouse
    Free Microsoft® Works® 8.5 + 60 Days Microsoft Office Trial
Free Cyberlink Video Editing Suite - 7 titles (oem)
    Multi-format Memory Card Reader (matx)
1 Year Hardware Warranty - Back to Base (UK Mainland only)

    All for £538.98 With Tax.

I use my pc for alot of things such as; Music, Gaming, Web Design and also hosting stuff on my localhost with xammp.

Also, I have alot of apps running at the same time, take that into account.

+REP for all sensible ideas, Thanks =D

If you feel confident enough then give building your own a go

You will get a better computer for your money then.

    I just built a:

    Core 2 Quad
    4GB RAM
    500GB HDD
    Antec Gaming Case

and it came to £540 overall, and that was without a monitor, keyboard/mice, graphics card and software.

It's not good in comparison to the rest of the system.

Ok, I've upped the case so now the PSU is 550W.
Total cost including keyboard, monitor, graphics card and mouse is - £560.12
The graphics card isn't the best, but it'll do - nVIDIA GeForce 8400 GS
