Plot:

Agents of an oil tycoon vanish while exploring a swamp marked for drilling. The local sheriff investigates and faces a Seminole legend come to life: Man-Thing, a shambling swamp-monster whose touch burns those who feel fear.

I saw this movie last night, it was quite decent for a horror movie I thought, it had no parts that made me jump it was more of a "gross-out horror" sort of thing that tries to scare you with blood spilling, I quite liked it, it was an interesting story and I think they actors played their characters pretty well, the only thing that I found to bring the movie down was how the love interest between Sheriff Kyle Williams (Matthew Le Nevez) and Teri Elizabeth Richards (Rachael Taylor) literally comes out of no where, they had met 2 or 3 times and then "fell in love" which I thought was pretty bad, it seemed as if they felt like it was needed in the movie dispite how they barely knew each other, it was still a pretty good movie, very unique deaths throughout and worth a watch, not the best movie ever but good for a horror

Being produced by Marvel, I was keen on seeing Man-Thing. But I never got around to it.

Not the only horror film, the second one, the first I actually liked was Ils (Them)
That was the best horror film I've seen, another version is being released under the name The Strangers, it's a different movie but it seems to have the same sort of story to it but set somewhere in America I believe, unlike Ils which is set somewhere in France

The Strangers was an enjoyable film, I don't know when it is released in the UK, I saw it at a festival a couple of weeks ago. I haven't seen Them.

I'm going to see The Strangers, if it's anything like Them then it should be quite good, it does seem somewhat better as it avoids the subtitles which is what bought it down for me, although once it gets into the main sections of the film they really don't talk much so you don't miss too many really good parts
