I'm looking at HP desktops, which one would you recommend?

The "gaming pc" has a max of 2.8 Ghz processor while the non gaming one has a maximum of 3.0 Ghz processor?
Could anybody please tell me which one i should go with, money is no object.

I've considered the XPS series, I'm really just stuck between HP & Dell as I like both companies equally.
Recommendations would be great for the HP in specific.

If you want gaming, there is the chance you could build one yourself. I built mine for £550, which included:

- Core 2 Quad - Q6600
- Asus P5KC Motherboard
- Antec 900 Gaming Case
- HX Corseair 550W PSU
- Artic Freezing Heatsink/Fan
- Seagate 500GB HDD
- DVD Drive
- All fans included
- Including del. of parts

This did not include a graphics card.

I like good deals, I'm not on a budget but dont like paying too much, hence the reason i decided not to go with AlienWare.

That is very pricy for what you get...only 2GB RAM.

You don't really need any more than 2GB RAM. I have a Dell XPS 420 which is good - you can get one with 2GB RAM, quad core and 8800GT now and a 22" monitor for £600
