does anyone know the average pay for under 18's
and also... how much tax you have to pay. I know you do have to pay tax when your 16+. If you earn over a certain ammount per week you get taxed. I have no clue really.

    Yes, that's right.

I'd say avoid the companies that dish out min wage to their under 18 employees. You are doing exactly the same job, and most retailers and places of work recognise this nowadays - it's a shame a lot don't.

I think I got about £5 an hour when I was under 18's... I don't think retail will give you alot more than min wage... sucky..
