Whenever I click anywhere on a page, a flashing cursor comes up (as if I'm typing) and it's really annoying because I can't use 'page up' and 'page down' buttons.
Can anyone tell me how to turn it off?

start > control panel > printers and other hardware > mouse > look around there(should be under pointers)

Moss: Yes you do; you've just used a double negative
Nothing on that that solves it, thanks anyway.
It's like... if I click anywhere on your post, it will come up with a flashing cursor (the one when typing) as if I can backspace it or something but obviously I can't, I'm just giving an idea of what's going on!![]()
Ohh I thought you were meaning that the arrow was flashing

Yes but I've had no problems before. The cursor is still there, it's just when I click anywhere on the page the little flashing icon comes up like when you are typing something. The mouse pointer cursor thingy is fine.
