Entertainment room

Seeing ToxicPaddy's room I'd thought I post my room idea

basically my room is like a square, with a little bit that comes out but I don't see that because thats the closet. So I plan to remove the closet and find alternative storage places. The closet area will become a desk for work and computer (I'll be using a laptop, and where my current desk (huge one) and computer desk (huge also), will be turned into an L-shaped sofa. The "L" bit of the sofa will be against my window (big window), which is good because I can lie there and enjoy the view

Opposite the sofa will be a tv hanged on the wall below the TV will be a small little cupboard to put my dvd player and wii and my cable tv box. in the middle of the room will be a tiny coffee table, that is light and can be easily stowed away in a corner of the room. I'll be installing a surround sound system in my room (taken from the living room, hardly anyone is there, and it works better in my tiny room) So i'll mount some shelfs behind the sofa to put the back speakers. Above my study table i'll mount a few too to keep my stuff (eg. books, iPhone, etc.)

Btw the walls will be all creme, ceiling white, and one wall (where tv is) burgandy. Most of the shelfs will be higher up (still can reach it) as my ceiling is quite high. Also adding a display case (glass) to display my nick nacks now flooding the room

here's the plan

Mon night - Pack stuff
Tues - Buy new stuff
Wed - Remove furniture and paint room
Thu - Install new furniture
Fri - Buy Macbook Pro (switching to mac )
Sat - Enjoy!

I like the idea, and think you should go for it An entertainment room would be great for me too but the study comes first for me

Sorry can't edit, I've decided to remove the glass display shelf for my stuff and keep them in a box instead, reason to make the place more serene
