The Chaos Theory

I think this hasn't been done on the forum, correct me if I'm wrong.

I'm not sure if it'll work as a game, but let's try anyway.

PLEASE Read all of this before posting, to avoid any mistakes.

First I need to eplain what it is. A Chaos theory is a series of events leading on from one another, beginning with a simple mistake made by someone for example, leading to the destruction of the Planet.

So each post must be the direct effect of the previous post. And the next post must be the direct effect of that one. And so on...

Obviously we don't want the Planet to be destroyed after 4 posts, please please please post a reasonable cause of the previous post. The posts must gradually get worse and worse.

The important thing about a chaos theory is that it is, obviously, a theory, so it has to sound reasonable. The whole point of a chaos theory is to demonstrate how a series of unfortunate events (not the book) can lead to the destruction of our Planet - so it has to be realistic to sound convincing.

If I don't do my homework - My teacher will take a machine gun out and kill me

That's not realistic.

If I don't do my homework - I'll get an after school detention

That's a decent answer.

So pleeease stick to the rules. If it goes well, I might gather all the posts and stick them together to show others.

P.S. A Chaos theory is an easy method of writing really quick essays for teachers (you know, when you get them as punishment) - if the teacher sets you the essay "Why I should bring my P.E. Kit" - you could easily just create a chaos theory for this.
