    Default Bobors guide to Slayer.

    Bobors guide to Slayer;
[Master, Monster locactions, and general tips!]

Welcome to my guide on slayer. In this guide, you will find:
    • Master's locations and Master's requirements.
    • Monster locations and Monster requirements.
    • Any general tips for teleporting devices, inventory and banking.
    Master: Turael
Location: Burthorpe (Across the road from the pub garden)
    Requirements:
    • Combat - 3
Best way of getting to him: Take a games necklace, and teleport to Burthorpe Games Room. (BGR)

When you first talk to Tureal, you will recieve an Enchanted Gem. This gem allows you to communicate with your slayer master to find out how you are doing with your task and how many more you have to kill before you are finished. It also allows you to find out the location of your slayer master, and if they have any tips they can give to you. It is highly useful to take with you on EVERY slayer assignment you go on, from level 1 slayer to level 99 slayer. This is your saviour from so many un-needed teleports.

If you ever need/want to change a task, come back and talk to Tureal.

Tureal can give a range of low-level monsters as asssignments. Here are just a few of the most common he gives.

Monster: Banshees. Location: Slayer tower, canifis. Equipment: earmuffs.
    Monster: Bats. Location: Wilderness/Taverly Dungeon.
Monster: Cave Bugs. Location: Lumbridge/Draynor slayer cave.
Monster: Cave Crawlers. Location: Relleka slayer cave. Equipment: Antipoisons.
Monster: Crawling hands: Location: Slayer tower, Canifis.
Monster: Monkeys. Location: Ape atoll/Ardougne Zoo. Equipment: GreeGree

As you can see, levelling slayer up uses alot of runes, so it is advised to take alot of runes every trip to get to the bank quickly.

Once you have completed a task, you go back to your slayer master, then you ask them for another task. Repeat this until you can use the next slayer master up.

    Master: Mazchna
Location: Canifis (The bridge leading north-east out of Canifis)
    Requirements:

    • Combat - 20
    • Priest in peril quest, finished.
Best way of getting to him: Teleport to varrock, walk east out of Varrock, the north, east then through the gate, down the ladder, through the chamber and into canifis.

Mazchna gives a range of low-medium level monsters for you to kill. The closest bank to slayer tower, is the one which is south of Mazchna. So if you ever need to bank, you do not need to teleport, you can simply run out and go to this bank. It is also handy because the slayer master is so close to the monsters and a bank.

Here are a few of the more common monster tasks from Mazchna:

Monster: Blue Dragons. Location: Taverly Dungeon/Ogre Enclave. Equipment: Anti-dragonfire shield.
    Monster:Moss giants. Location: Varrock sewers/Ardougne.
Monster: Cockatrice. Location: Slayer tower, Canifis. Equipment: Mirror shield.
Monster: Pyrefiends. Location: Slayer cave, Relleka. Equipment: Dragonhide.
Monster: Crawling hand. Location: Slayer tower, Canifis.

If you ever need to purchase any items for a slayer task, every slayer master sells all the items you will need for each monster.

    Master: Vannaka
    Location: Edgeville dungeon.
    Requirements:

    • Combat - 40
Best way to get to him: Teleport to edgeville then go south and down the ladder in the ruins. Head along the passageway past the wilderness gates and you will find him there.

Edgeville is one of the closest banks to a tele spot. It is quick to re-stock if you take an Amulet of Glory with you on every trip, but is not nescesary.

Here are a few of the more common tasks that Vannaka gives:

Monster: Ankous. Location: Barbarian village dungeon.
    Monster: Goblins. Location: Everywhere.
    Monster: Crocodiles. Location: The Desert.
Monster: Infernal Mages. Location: Slayer tower, canifis. Equipment: Dragonhide
    Monster: Hellhounds. Location: Taverly dungeon.
Monster: Basilisk. Location: Relleka slayer cave. Equipment: Mirror shield.

At this point in your slayer career, you may notice that you recieve more monsters per task then you did before.

    Master: Chaeldar
    Location: Lost city of Zanaris.
    Requirements:

    • Combat - 70
    • Lost city quest, completed.
    • Dramen staff
Best way to get to him: Glory-teleport to Draynor, run south-east into the swamp, then east when you reach the swamp and into the hut. (You must wield your dramen staff before entering the hut.)

Draynor is the closest bank to Lumbridge slayer cave. (Shown as the red (!) on the map) It is a useful re-stock place if you have a long task there. Always remember to take a lantern and tinderbox with you into the cave, never a naked flame!

Chaeldar gives a medium range of slayer monsters for you to kill, here are a few of the more common tasks he may give:

    Monster: Dagannoths. Location: Lighthouse.
Monster: Metal dragons. Location: Brimhaven cave. Requirements: 875gp, Anti-dragonfire shield.
Monster: Fire giants. Location: Glarials waterfall. Equipment: Glarials amulet, Rope.
    Monster: Trolls. Location: Death plateu.
Monster: Zygomites. Location: Zanaris (Near the cosmic alter) Equipment: (They first look like mushrooms, pick them and they will appear) Once you have them almost dead, use fungicide spray on them.
Monster: Jellies. Location: Relleka slayer cave. Equipment: Dragonhide.

Once you reach level 100 combat and 50 slayer, you can go to the shilo master.

    Master: Duradel
    Location: Shilo Village.
    Requirements:

    • Combat - 100
    • Slayer - 50
    • Shilo village quest, completed.
Best way to get to him: Teleport to ardougne and get the boat to brimhaven, get the cart to shilo village, go into the fishing shop, up the ladder, across the bridge and hes there.

The cart can cost anything from about 40gp - 300 gp, so always take around 1k gold with you.

Duradel is the highest slayer master you can get. He gives out strong, and hard monsters to fight, but at a great experience rate.

Here are few of the more common tasks from Duradel:

Monster: Dust Devil. Location: Smoke dungeon, The Desert. Equipment: Face mask (Must have start DT)
Monster: Greater Demons. Location: Brimhaven dungeon.
Monster: Gargoyles. Location: Slayer tower, Canifis. Equipment: Rock hammer.
Monster: Bloodvelds. Location: Slayer tower, Canifis. Equipment: Dragonhide.

A quick and easy way to Duradel is Karamja gloves (Level 3). You receive these from doing the Karamja achievment diary, completed.

After months of pure slayer, you should be very high combat level, and at last, 99 Slayer! Congrations! The cape costs 99k from Duradel.

Nice guide, It's actually faster to get to lost city by homeproting then going through the whole in the graveyard (now everyone can go through it without agility)

Could do a quick bit on how skillers train slayer :p (genies, new random and rings of recoils)

    Great guide Bob.

All matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration. We are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectivly. There is no such thing as death, life is only a dream and we're the imagination of ourselves.
