Sunderland priced out of their pursuit for Guiza

I had read this the other day and was sceptical, but secretly crossing my fingers.

but today I've just read this and im a bit gutted actually. I wouldve loved Sunderland to snatch a great striker from teams who were keeping their eyes on him like Barcelona, Roma and Arsenal. we can all dream, eh?

sunderland could probably offer double what majorca can if not more.

To get a team like Mallorca to finish 7th in La Liga is some achievement. He was tap goalscorer ahead of people like Messi, Henry, Van Nistelrooy, Kanoute, Keita etc. Doing that whilst playing for Mallorca makes it even better.

No offense mate, but I can see Bent happening more than Guiza.

I'd rather have Bent, he has proved he is a good pl player. Spurs havnt really given him a chance.
