    Default Bell (Aliant) & Telus...

are going to start charging for each text sent, and recieved. I think for Bell it's 15cents for every text recieved and recieved, so each message you send is worth 30 cents in total, and if you have a text limit like 500 texts, each text sent and recieved eats into that allowance.

My dad is with Bell and I was talking to him about getting a new phone and he told me that and I was like wth, you can't choose when you want to recieve text messages? Someone with an unlimited texting plan could send text after text to a person without a texting plan and run up their bill. My dad is locked in for another year with Bell and then he's switching to Rogers because Telus is doing the same.

I personally think it's stupid, what do you think?
I'm at a point in my life where I don't care if you like me or you don't. If you like me, cool. If you don't, meh.

That is well stupid. I just don't want UK operators to pick it up. Texts should be free to receive!

They practically give away mobile phone service here - so that won't happen.
