Default How to put my forum on Maintenance Break?

    Hey,
I'm using Simple Machines forum. It's really good.
But, I want to put the forum on a maintenance break since my forum is not 100% done.

+rep for the one who helps.

    Thanks,
    Meti

Sometimes you need to apply some changes to your forum and you do not want your forum to be accessed while in the process. SMF has a mode to deal with this situation: it is called the "Maintenance Mode".

To activate this mode, go to your Administration Center and click on Server Settings. Check the Maintenance Mode? box and confirm your choice.

    * A special message will be displayed to everybody: you can edit this message's title and content by entering yours in the two text fields under the Maintenance Mode? checkbox.

That might just be how the maintenance page is done in SMF, I personally haven't really bothered with it so don't know how it works. MyBB is much better
