CPU Speed??

I've turned my laptop onto minimum CPU speed, will this affect how it runs, like how fast etc. ?

depending on how good your CPU is it'll take longer to load stuff and to run it.

Yes it will make your computer slower. (if you are using say: 70% of your CPU at a time) - you could then be using 90% when its on minimum, this could effect your computer in the long term. Medium would be recommended for longer computer life.

It depends on how much you have reduced it by.. If you decreased the clock from for example 2.3Ghz to 2Ghz you won't notice much of a performance hit.

Well its an acer, and the only way I can edit it is with empowering tech.. and i put it from maximum to minimum lol.
