    Default URGENT HELP - NEED REALLY BADLY

    First of all I noticed I program has just appeared called, Antivirus XP 2008, I didn't know what it was or how it got there, I went to click on control pannel, nothing happened I minimized IE and the wallpaper had changed to:

    Warning Spyware detected on your computer.
    Install an anti-virus or spyware remover to clean you're computer.

    I can't open any other programs, what should I do.

    have u tried restarting your computer in safe mode and try removing it?

    Sorry to sound like an idiot but how do i shut it down in safe mode? I feel really ill and dizzy everythings gone blank

    Go to your desktop and press alt+f4 .
    (That's to turn your comp off btw)

    Can you not run a virus scan at all? I would also say safe mode, if you don't know how it's F2 when you're booting up to enter start up mode.
    If all else fails, the dreaded reformat may be an option for you..?

    I'm starting in safe mode at the moment.
    Everythings gone massive, is that what it is meant to do?

    Try turning your anti virus on and run a scan in safe modee
