    Default Upgrade to 64bit

Hi, is there a way to upgrade from vista 32-bit to 64-bit without loosing any files and without programs being touched?

Just wondering as I'm thinking of getting another 2GB of RAM but the most 32-bit will pick up is 3GB.

    Thanks.

Not sure weather I should just get 1GB at the moment or just go for another 2GB to make a total of 4GB.

    Any suggestions?

If you can afford it, get the 4GB

Even if you don't have 4GB, 64bit is, and is proven to be faster than 32bit.

But not by a massive ammount though. You won't be able to open programs and load games within a millionth of a second.
