    Default Worth learning OOP?

Well I'm building a small forum (nothing major) and I'm going to use smarty for the templates, saw smarty was in a way using OOP coding. Is this just going to waste my time or should I learn it?

Well I wouldn't say it was actually something you 'learn', it is just another technique and method to coding.

You really probably already know it, but you just haven't mastered how to control it.

I suggest you read up on it, I know when I started devving into it that I never went back

Well I know for one I will have to totally reformat my coding in the way of methods and techniques. Hear hear to your second sentence. Do you think it's worth spending the time learning it? Obviously I'm going to learn a tad due to me wanting to edit the smarty coding.
