    I added that height at 500 something, but I put it at auto and it still didn't stretch when I did that. I never had a problem with this until now, let me know what I'm doing wrong.

    Could you explain some more, you're saying that it's not expanding when the image shows it expanding?

    It's overlapping when the other boxes expand.

    I want the image in the back to expand when the boxes move, insteading of overlapping like in the image.

    No, I want the white box which has text in it to stay inside that box. The grey is jus the background. I'm not worried about the background. I also give you +rep for commenting.

    Do you mean that you want the grey to be after the end of the box? If you do then add clear: both; to it.

    To the grey box's CSS add: clear: both;.
