    Default 2 MSN PROBLEMS.

    OK I HAVN'T GOT SERVICE PACK 2 FOR WINDOWS XP, AND DON'T WANT TO DOWNLOAD IT BECAUSE IT RUINS MY COMPUTER.
    IS THERE ANY OTHER WAY TO DOWNLOAD WINDOWS LIVE MESSENGER WITHOUT GETTING ERRORS SAYING THAT I NEED SERVICE PACK 2.

    I WILL GIVE YOU A SHOUTCAST FOR FREE IF YOU HELP ME. TA.

    MY OTHER PROBLEM IS WHEN I SIGN INTO MSN, IT LOADS OF AGES. THEN I CANCEL IT AND TYPE IN MY CORRECT PASSWORD, THEN WHEN I CLICK SIGN IN, IT THEN GOES TO THE PASSWORD I ACCIDENTALY TYPED IN BY A MISTAKE.

    Ok, for the second question, if your looking to get onto msn use www.ebuddy.com. its an online msn messenger. as a temp.

    Have you tried re-installing WLM?. or are you using the new beta version, or a stable one.

    for the password one, make it forget you, then type in your password and make it save both

    Stable one. Uninstalled and rebooted my computer.

    Also currently im using Messenger 7.5. But i want WLM.

    You can't. WLM Requires SP2. How does it mess up your computer?

    Goes to a blank screen. Couldn't start up Windows XP.

    Also before i rebooted. WLM worked on ServicePack1 on my computer.

    Im installing SP2. Will it mess up my computer?

    When i installed SP2 on my old laptop, it diddent mess it up, but it did get the screen size wrong. it shouldent mess it up, and id say its quite safe to install.

    My XP wouldn't load up, i had to go to safe mode to delete SP2.

    Grrr need help :L
