Caller Id ?

Well I got a new BT freestyle home phone.

It has the abilitie to do Caller id. Well my other phones have had it, but I havnt really paid attention to it before.

I read the manual and it says " you must subscribe to the service by your Phone provider "

Im currently with Virgin phone.
Is it free to subscribe or does it cost.

Ive googled it and have found various different answers.

So does anyone know? thanks x
